Healthy grapes, collected at the beginning of November 2015, were carefully selected to produce this in the “Grape Selection” quality were used. After they were left and fermented on the skins, we have stored the wine for 13 months in big barrique barrels.

TASTE AND SENSORY ATTRIBUTES: Ruby-red color with a distinct viscosity on the edge. The aroma is dominated by a trail of dark berries, blackberries and black poppies, with a fine touch of smoke gained through maturing in oak barrels. The taste is robust with nicely integrated tannins. In the long aftertaste dominates blackberry jam.
MEAL SUGGESTION: Grilled deer back with rosehip sauce, grilled flanksteak with salad of asparagus, peas, tomatoes with a reduction of red wine with mashed potatoes; Har cow cheeses.
WINE SERVING: Served at 14-15°C in red wine goblets with a volume of 500-650 ml, decanting is recommended to delicately open up the wine´s aromas and flavors
BOTTLE MATURATION: 3-5 years
WINEMAKERS´S DIARY: Grapes of this Ukranian variety were collected at sugar content 23 ° NM, which is equivalent to “Selection of grapes” quality. After gentle grape processing cryomaceration followed at 4°C for 5 days during which we extracted from grapes any aroma. Followed by controlled fermentation. After the final fermentation, the wine matured in oak barrels for 10 months. We have achieved a massive persistent wine with a beautiful typical aromatics of poppy cherry pies. Mix of dried fruit prevails in the taste supported by a hint of oak.
