TASTE AND SENSORY ATTRIBUTES:
Bright burgundy-red color with viscious purple edge. Catches the attention with attractive, even concentrated aromas of juniper, blackberry and elderberry fruit. Full, fruity flavor is freshened up by tones of sour cherries, black currants and, in the aftertaste, by impressive juicy tannins in conjunction with fuller fruit extract. Oppulent, harmonious aftertaste of this vintage is influenced by maturing in large wooden barrels. Slow micro-oxidation resulted in delicious fruity aftertaste of wine with a hint of toasted bread crust and chocolate-covered sour cherries.
Fine rabbit thigh paté in beetroot jelly served with beetroot puree; sage and lamb´s lettuce; slowly roasted fallow deer back served with masked potatoes; matured lump cow´s cheese
WINE SERVING: Served at 15-17°C in red wine goblets in „burgunder“ shape with a volume of 450-550ml.
BOTTLE MATURATION: 5-7 years
Warm and dry year has allowed the harvest at the beginning of November 2013 in quality Selection of grapes. Usage of modern and traditional approach created robust wine with complex structure and higher content of sweet tannins. 8 months of microoxidation in 5 000 liter oak barrels has enriched the wine with a light taste of sweet wood and dark chocolate.
