TASTE AND SENSORY ATTRIBUTES:
Attractive greenish-yellow colored wine with sparkly edge. Onset of the wine´s aroma surprises with peachy smell with a hint of pear and flowering roses. Taste is full, rich in fruit acids in harmony with residual sugar. Wine includes gentle tones of tropical fruits as mango, kiwi and passion fruit but also summer Williams´s pear and spicy nutmeg.The aftertaste in combination of alcohol and residual sugar leaves you with a warm feeling on the tip of your tongue.
MEAL SUGGESTION: Pheasant salad with quail egg; creamy chickpeas soup with mashed potato, soft lamb paté, mature cow cheese
WINE SERVING: Served at 9-11°C in white wine goblets with a volume of 300-370 ml
BOTTLE MATURATION: 3-5 years
Year 2016 was affected by long, mild autumn with a excessive rainfall, which allowed to maintain higher grape acids at a satisfying natural sugar content. After reduction, healthy grapes were harvested on 20.10. 2016 with an average sugar content 24 °NM. The result of gentle reductive processing, where we stopped the fermentation process at the residual sugar content of 25 g/l, is elegant harmonious semi-sweet wine with nice moderate organic acids.
