The grapes of this Austrian variety, originating as a crossing of St.Laurent x Blaufränkisch were harvested in Selection of grapes quality. Fermentation in contact with the skins gave rise to an extractive and fresh dry fruity wine. Slow process of micro-oxidation and maturation in large oak barrels with capacity of 5 000 liters added to the wine its nice robustness and style for further maturing in bottle.

VARIETY: Zweigeltrebe

TASTE AND SENSORY ATTRIBUTES:
Dark ruby-red color with purple edges. Catches the attention with its pleasant aroma of blueberries mixed with basket of freshly picked overripe May cherries. In the full, medium-long, extractive flavor notes of blackberries appear. On the palate these notes are highlighted by velvety fruit tannins from grapes harvested in the selection of grapes quality and, in the aftertaste, they are refreshed by delicious juicy acidity. Fresh, fruity bouquet of the vintage is enhanced in the finish by traces of wooden barrel as well as of cooked chestnuts dipped in dark chocolate.

Beef rolls on mushrooms, with roasted potatoes; roasted black pudding with groat-bean risotto and burgundy shallot; maturing cheeses made from cow´s milk with washed rind

BOTTLE MATURATION: 3-5 years
